What is the eTA New Zealand ? The eTA for New Zealand ( New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) is an electronic travel authorisation for citizens of visa waiver countries. Eligible travellers can easily obtain their NZeTA to travel to the country. Travel to New Zealand without first applying for a visa — if you are travelling on a passport from a visa waiver country, a cruise ship passenger or a permanent resident of Australia.
